Tips to Potty Training for Dogs

Potty Training is a method to train a dog to pee / poop outside the home or a place that you have prepared, in other words, do not pee / poop in the house.
Housebreaking is the first thing that should be taught to your dog. In general, the puppy has not been able to control the bladder and bowels until the age of 12 weeks. If your puppy ages younger than that, it takes extra patience to teach.

Set the schedule for housebreaking.
Try to get up every morning at the same time, take the dog out of the house. Feed the dog at the same time for a few days and immediately take it out immediately after it finished eating.

Choose a word to the action, such as "Out" or "Defecating outside", use the word / phrase consistently, so the puppy will learn that word as a command.
Always take the dog to the same place as would pee / poop. The smell of the place will be motivated to pee / poop. If they do it again, give them compliment.

Things to noticed when making housebreaking: Give compliment to the dog when they do it right.
Do it as routine.
Never physically punish them when founded pee / poop
Do not correct / reprimand except when you found them pee / poop

Potty training/housebreaking may take a few months, so do not give up.
