Akita Inu is one of six Japanese dog breeds. This animals include a new breed of dog, and is recognized as a new breed about 100 years ago.
Akita Inu has a great hunting ability. Due to the size and courage, Akita Inu be a reliable hunting dogs, which prey such as wild boar, elk, and bear large Yezo in the province of Akita.
Ancestors akita Matagi Akita Inu is used for hunting deer and bear. In ancient times, there was not a large dog in Japan. Matagi Akita is a medium sized hunting dogs to hunt bears.
These dogs are large, have a balance of body and good body proportions. Its calm, loyal, obedient, teachable.
Females have a height of about 24 to 26 inches, and males 26 to 28 inches.
Skull balanced by the body. Wide forehead, has a clear crease but free of wrinkles.
Big nose and black. Only the little white dog which may lack pigment, black nose better. Long muzzle, robust, and wide, slightly narrowed to the tip but not tapered. Against dogs or other animals, Akita Inu can turn out to be more aggressive and may attack them.
